DISHWASHER PROBLEMS

CONSTANT/LOUD NOISES

Technicians have years of experience in troubleshooting and fixing dishwasher issues that can cause irregular noises to come from the appliance. The cause of the sounds is usually either a broken pump housing, washer arm bearing or motor bushing. Because these are all common problems, you can rely on us to repair them right away!

LEAKING WATER

There are primarily two reasons a dishwasher leaks water. The most common reason is there is an issue with the door latch or closure and it will need to be replaced. The second cause is a failed water inlet valve that can be fixed soon after our arrival to your home. We have all of the parts to fix Whirlpool, GE, Kenmore and name brands of dishwashers.

DOESN’T START

If a dishwasher will not turn on, you be sure the dishwasher is plugged in and none of the circuit breakers. If this is not the problem, then the problem might be coming from the door closure switches, electronic controls, thermal fuses or motor relays.

WON’T DRAIN/FILL

A dishwasher is supposed to fill with water and drain the water after the dishes are clean. A dishwasher will not fill if there is a broken door switch or float switch or a broken water inlet valve. Your dishwasher does not drain when there’s a broken drain pump motor or drain hose on the unit.

WON’T CLEAN DISHES

Your dishwasher isn’t much use if dishes are still dirty following a cycle. The dishes will sometimes still be dirty when there’s a broken housing gasket, water tube or filter or spray arm. We have replacement parts available to fix common dishwasher issues fast.

DOESN’T DRY DISHES

The job of a dishwasher is for it to both wash and dry dishes. You don’t want to have to hand dry your dishes and silverware following a cycle. A dishwasher doesn’t dry when there’s a broken heating element, rinse aid dispenser or thermostat. We can fix or replace manufacturer parts that perform the drying functions of all brands and models of dishwashers.

DOESN’T DISPENSE DETERGENT

For a dishwasher to wash dishes, it must be able to dispense soap or detergent within the appliance. This can’t happen when there is a broken bi-metal release, timer or wax motor.
